Job summary

Bombardier's Biggin Hill Service Centre is seeking a diligent Material Handler to support base and line maintenance operations. You will receive and inspect components, manage tooling and inventories, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate for all parts and materials.

The role requires experience in aviation or materials environments, SAP proficiency, and the ability to multi-task under time pressures.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation or material/parts environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of SAP and basic aircraft parts terminology.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures and safety/environmental procedures.
• Attend meetings and inform the team about constraints.
• Prioritize items to ensure timely handling of incoming and outgoing parts, including AOG items.
• Receive/visual-inspect incoming/outgoing materials and ensure proper documentation.
• Inspect and identify tools/equipment and enter tooling in the tooling program.
• Quarantine and label rejected tools/parts and inform Buyer Planner of discrepancies.
• Accept aircraft components and materials in SAP.
• File material certificates and link materials to supplier sources.
• Issue approved parts, materials, tooling and GSE with documentation.
• Ensure outgoing materials are charged to the correct customer account.
• Maintain accurate inventory via cycle counts and perpetual systems.
