Job summary

Bombardier’s London Service Centre in Biggin Hill seeks an Operations Manager to lead maintenance activities, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold airworthiness and safety standards. You will supervise technicians, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

You will apply EASA Part 66 knowledge and demonstrate strong planning, cost control, and leadership to foster collaboration with customers and management. Strong communication and people development are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of maintenance teams in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and airworthiness standards (EASA/CAA).
• Excellent planning, cost control and productivity focus.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to motivate and coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements.
• Oversee completion of planned and ad-hoc maintenance projects to achieve on-time delivery through effective supervision and resource allocation.
• Cultivate a safe and inclusive work environment prioritising well-being.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
• Manage airmanship standards and airworthiness compliance.
• Lead and develop technicians; delegate tasks to qualified individuals as needed.
• Conduct performance reviews and foster fairness in feedback.
• Collaborate with Planning/CPM/Stores to meet quality and cost targets.
• Support continuous improvement and change initiatives.
