Job summary

Heathrow Academy, based near Stevenage, is seeking a commercial/quantity surveying professional to support subcontract payments and project administration within our aviation infrastructure team.

You will maintain records, interact with clients on site visits, manage subcontract accounts to final account, and liaise with procurement and operational teams while applying strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial, quantity surveying, or project administration role within construction, maintenance, utilities, civils, or infrastructure.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word (Essential) & Oracle (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Process subcontractor payments and maintain associated records.
• Maintaining records to support in recovery of cost(s).
• Client interaction and regular site visits.
• Management of subcontract accounts through to final account.
• Liaison with operational teams as required.
• Interface with project buying & procurement.
