Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor to join our aviation-focused team in West Sussex, delivering commercial leadership on major infrastructure projects.

You will own the commercial delivery, lead procurement and contract administration, mentor junior surveyors, and drive client engagement within a busy infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant degree level qualifications.
• Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role including consultancy and infrastructure.
• Must be based within a commutable distance of West Sussex.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring works are delivered to budget, programme and quality standards while maintaining client objectives.
• Lead procurement strategy, tender management, contract administration and cost control under NEC or similar contracts.
• Act as the key commercial point of contact for clients, contractors and consultants, leading meetings and managing relationships.
• Manage and mentor junior surveyors while supporting wider business growth through client engagement and fee management.

Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor – Aviation – West Sussex

We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary construction and property consultancy with presence across the UK and proven success in a variety of sectors including Rail, Utilities, Energy, Roads, Energy etc. Due to continued growth in their Aviation arm, they are actively seeking an experienced Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the South to aid the Commercial Team.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the commercial delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring works are delivered to budget, programme and quality standards while maintaining full alignment with client objectives and operational constraints.

• Pre & Post Contract Management

  Lead all commercial activities across the project lifecycle, including procurement strategy, tender management, contract administration and cost control, ensuring robust governance under NEC or similar forms of contract

• Stakeholder & Client Interface

  Act as the key commercial point of contact for clients, contractors and consultants, leading meetings, managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships across complex, live infrastructure environments.

• Team Leadership & Business Development

  Manage and mentor junior surveyors while supporting wider business growth through client engagement, fee management and contribution to new work opportunities within the infrastructure and aviation sector.
