Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the Heathrow Airport facilities maintenance team, supporting high-profile aviation operations where safety, reliability and compliance are essential. Salary £48,000 per annum, plus on-call payments and overtime at 1.5x and 2x, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

A company van and fuel card are provided, with 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

Strong electrical skills and knowledge of air‑conditioning systems.
Experience in a similar maintenance role with fault diagnosis and rectification.
Health and safety training and understanding of risk assessments and method statements.
Familiarity with CAFM planned maintenance system (Concept) using handheld PDA.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and equipment operations in line with best practice.
Ensure third‑party contractors work safely and in line with procedures.
Review risk assessments and method statements before work begins.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
Follow safety regulations, company policies and procedures.
Help ensure facilities remain compliant and operational at all times.
