Job summary

BT Group is seeking an experienced design professional to join the Police & Government Design Team. You will shape complex Avaya contact centre solutions for blue light customers, translating operational needs into integrated designs and guiding delivery with architects and customers.

You will drive consistency in technical processes, manage risk, and support senior stakeholders in bids and design reviews, while ensuring solutions remain maintainable and scalable.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in designing and supporting Avaya contact centre solutions.
• Broad understanding of contact centre infrastructure including networking, virtualization and cloud.
• Ability to translate complex customer needs into integrated technical designs and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture of detailed customer requirements and translate into end-to-end solution designs.
• Partner with architects, customers and third parties to align technical direction and delivery outcomes.
• Manage design reviews, validation, migration planning and doc updates for integrated, maintainable solutions.
• Improve design and delivery capability by driving consistent processes and resolving complex service issues.
• Share specialist knowledge with colleagues and senior stakeholders and contribute to bids.
