Job summary

Solotech is seeking a Workshop Service Technician to service and repair professional AV equipment to modular and component levels. You will support the live production team, inspect ex-hire gear, and prepare systems for delivery, installation, or sale.

You will build strong client, manufacturer, and supplier relationships while maintaining high service standards. The role requires at least 1 year of fault-finding experience, a degree in electronics or AV service, and flexibility to travel across

Qualifications

• Experience fault finding and repair to system or component level (min 1 year).
• Ability to read circuit schematics and service manuals.
• Ability to interact with people at all professional levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair professional AV systems to modular and component level.
• Assist with service, test and preparation of ex-hire equipment for sale.
• Manage own workload to meet deadlines and report outstanding items.
• Identify process improvements with team leaders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Report anomalies, lost or damaged tools to management.
• Adhere to Solotech standards and act as an ambassador for the company.
• Carry out ad-hoc requests as required by management.
