Job summary

Journey Recruitment Ltd in Wokingham is looking for an AV Workshop Technician to test, inspect and prepare large-format displays and AV gear for UK events, based in a modern workshop from Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm.

You will perform quality checks, handle equipment safely, and support on-site installations when required. The role offers overtime and full training to get you up to speed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing and preparation of AV equipment and large-format displays.
• Ability to handle equipment safely and with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Testing and quality checking large-format screens and AV equipment
• Inspecting equipment for damage and grading condition
• Cleaning and preparing equipment for dispatch
• Updating records and completing quality checks
• Diagnosing basic faults and firmware updates
• Occasionally supporting equipment installations at customer sites and events
