We have an opportunity for you to join the team as an AV Support Technician.

Job Purpose:
To provide AV and technical support as required to all clients facilitating the hotel.
What you can expect:
- Service all AV requirements requested by clients through the hotel events team.
- Offer technical support to the venue's AV Manager and Events team.
- Ensure all equipment is set up neatly and to a high standard.
- Assist with multimedia broadcasting support.
- Respond quickly to emergency/ad-hoc requests.
- Assist with IT-related enquiries during support, escalating issues if required.
- Maintain an ongoing stock check of equipment stored on site.
- Collaborate with the hotel's operations staff to ensure each room has correctly set up AV equipment.
- Operate events as needed.
What we expect from you:
- Be hardworking and enthusiastic.
- Have hands-on knowledge of technical equipment (training can be provided, e.g., mixing a sound desk).
- Knowledge and experience of the hotel conference industry (beneficial but not essential).
- Customer service skills.
- Be a good team player.
- Have good attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
