We invite you to join our team as an AV Support Technician.
Our goal is to work within a diverse team to ensure exceptional guest experiences and stays.
Job Purpose:
To provide AV and technical support to all clients at the hotel.
What you can expect:
- Servicing all AV requirements requested by clients via the hotel events team.
- Providing technical support to the venue's AV Manager and Events team.
- Setting up equipment neatly and to a high standard.
- Supporting multimedia broadcasting.
- Responding quickly to emergency or ad-hoc requests.
- Assisting with IT-related inquiries and escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintaining an ongoing stock check of equipment stored on-site.
- Collaborating with hotel staff to ensure proper AV setup in each room.
- Operating events as required.
What we expect from you:
- Hardworking and enthusiastic attitude.
- Hands-on knowledge of technical equipment, including computers; training will be provided for sound mixing.
- Experience in the hotel conference industry is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good team player.
- Attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
