Your area of responsibility:

Working in some of the best venues and hotels in the UK, you will play an integral role in planning and preparing events, responsible for delivery and setup from small meetings to large-scale productions.

• Main point of contact for clients to ensure expectations are met.
• Prepare, rig, and de-rig equipment, and be available on-site for technical issues.
• Proactively contact clients to develop sales potential and interpret technical solutions.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of standard set designs and visuals.
• Maximize sales by up-selling services and increasing event elements.
• Participate in capture rate discussions and suggest ways to recover lost business.
• Monitor sales files and follow sales processes.
• Foster good relations with sales team and educate them on services.
• Develop a client database and follow up post-event for future business.
• Manage responsibilities within budget and negotiate rates.
• Collaborate with hotel team and Marketing to develop promotional materials.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain communication.
• Cultivate relations with hotel staff and address service concerns.
• Coordinate with London and site teams for support and resource management.
• Create and standardize information systems for equipment and reporting.
• Develop large-scale events and oversee tender processes and pre-production.
• Build customer loyalty and monitor competitor activities.
• Delegate technical responsibilities and manage technician shifts effectively.

What you bring with you:

• High School Diploma, GCSEs or equivalent preferred.
• Strong AV/live events experience preferred.
• Experience in Service and Hospitality industry preferred.
• AV or educational environment experience beneficial.
