Job summary

SCC is seeking an AV Field Service Engineer to deliver onsite service and maintenance across the North of England. You will assess faults, repair on-site or arrange RMAs, and ensure customer satisfaction through high standards of service.

The role requires flexibility, occasional overtime, and the ability to travel to client sites. A clean UK driving licence and willingness to apply for security clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience servicing and repairing AV equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service and a positive experience for customers.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure, individually or in a team.
• Willingness to work out of hours when required.
• Eligibility to gain security clearance.
• Must hold a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend service calls and maintenance visits, including overseas and out-of-hours work.
• Identify and provide solutions to faults with AV equipment.
• Conduct meetings room checks to ensure all equipment functions correctly.
• Deliver a high-quality service experience to users and customers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Fault finding and resolution of AV/VC problems.
• Provide accurate site surveys for SLA compliance.
