Job summary

SCC is hiring an AV Field Service Engineer to service and repair AV equipment at client sites across the North of England. You will attend service calls, diagnose faults, and decide on on-site repair or RMA while upholding SLA commitments.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, flexibility for overtime and occasional overseas travel, and the ability to build strong client relationships. SCC offers hybrid working, a competitive salary, and a broad benefits scheme.

Qualifications

• Servicing and repairing AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive, professional experience.
• Clear communication at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure both individually and in a team.
• Willingness to work out of hours when required.
• Ability to gain security clearance.
• Must hold a UK Driving Licence.
• Good time management.

Responsibilities

• Attend service calls and maintenance visits, some overseas and OOH.
• Identify and provide solutions to faults with equipment.
• Conduct meeting room checks to ensure all equipment functions correctly.
• Deliver a high-quality service experience to users and customers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Fault finding and resolution of AV/VC problems.
• Provide accurate site surveys for SLAs.
• Ensure tickets are updated with correct information in real time.
• Maintain PPE and safety equipment issued to them.
• Escalate issues to team manager when required.
• Provide dynamic risk assessments when required.
