Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an AutoStore Shift Lead for our West Midlands operation. You will own the day-to-day AutoStore system, acting as the main contact for IT bugs, admin issues, breakdowns and troubleshooting to keep the operation running smoothly.

The AutoStore rollout is recent and there are teething challenges to resolve. This role offers strong change-management responsibility, with progression opportunities as the site grows; experience with AutoStore or Ocado grid is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in an automated warehouse environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience dealing with system issues and breakdowns.
• Ability to take ownership of AutoStore-related issues.
• Proactive approach and confidence in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day AutoStore operation and act as primary contact for IT bugs, admin issues, breakdowns and troubleshooting.
• Ensure the AutoStore system runs smoothly and disruption is minimised.
• Help drive change management and continuous improvement as automation expands.
