Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting an AutoStore Shift Lead for a large automated warehouse in the West Midlands. You will own the day-to-day AutoStore operation, acting as the main contact for IT bugs, admin issues, breakdowns and troubleshooting to keep the system running smoothly.

The role involves helping with teething issues after AutoStore launch, with a shuttle system planned for bulk-picking; the site is around 65,000 sq ft and about 200 UK-wide employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in an automated warehouse environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience dealing with system issues and breakdowns.
• The ability to take ownership of AutoStore-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day AutoStore operation and serve as the primary IT and admin contact.
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns to minimise disruption.
• Drive change management and continuous improvement as automation expands.
