Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd in the UK is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer focused on Condition Monitoring and Vibration Analysis. You will own an established portfolio across Southern England and South Wales, combining CBM expertise with technical sales and account management. The role offers autonomy over diary and territory, with ongoing specialist training and a company car. You will travel to customer sites and work from home between visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in CBM/condition monitoring or vibration analysis.
• Technical sales, account management or business development in an engineering/industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of rotating and electromechanical machinery.
• Experience with industrial equipment (pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, fans, compressors).
• Strong customer relationship and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to work autonomously across a field-based territory.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established portfolio of industrial and blue-chip customer accounts.
• Visit engineering, manufacturing and process-industry customers across Southern England and South Wales.
• Build relationships with maintenance engineers and technical decision-makers.
• Understand machinery condition and reliability requirements and recommend the correct technical solution.
• Sell condition-monitoring, vibration-analysis and machinery-reliability equipment and systems.
• Support customers working with rotating and electromechanical machinery.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for further business.
• Manage your territory, diary and customer appointments.
• Approximately four site visits per week.
• Work from home between customer visits with flexible scheduling.
• Continue specialist training to develop technical knowledge.
