Job summary

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the aerospace and defence industries, is recruiting a Quality Engineer for our Staverton site.

Working with customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies, you will oversee product verification, quality investigations, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

This hands-on role reports to the Operations Quality Manager and requires experience in AS9100, non-conformance methods and aerospace regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of AS9100 (latest revision) and AS9102.
• Knowledge of non-conformance management and root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys).
• Ability to work with operational teams to improve quality performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product verification activities including inspections and FAIRs.
• Lead MRB activities and conduct non-conformance investigations.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct internal and external audits and support customer quality activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
