Job summary

Reed in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead a geographically focused portfolio within a supportive team.

You will be the principal contact for landlords and tenants, ensuring exceptional service, strong portfolio performance and full regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in residential property management.
• Full UK driving licence.
• ARLA Propertymark or LetWell qualification.
• Strong understanding of Scottish lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of property maintenance and contractor management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage a residential property portfolio and act as principal contact for landlords and tenants.
• Provide proactive advice on property performance, maintenance and rental values.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and improvement projects and manage contractor relationships.
• Ensure properties remain compliant with legislation and oversee tenancy administration from start to finish.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to effective portfolio management.
• Mentor and support junior colleagues and collaborate with lettings, administration and compliance teams.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio growth and referrals to support business success.
