Northgate Village Surgery is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our friendly team in Chester. The role involves autonomous work delivering high-quality care, managing chronic conditions, immunisations, wound care, and cervical screening, while contributing to health promotion and patient safety.

You will work as part of a supportive clinical team, with opportunities to participate in quality improvement and the ongoing development of nursing services across the practice.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with the NMC.
• Experience in primary care and chronic disease management.
• Experience delivering immunisations, wound care and cervical screening.
• Ability to promote healthy lifestyle choices and perform health promotion activities.
• Experience using EMIS Web in a busy practice.

Responsabilités

• Chronic disease management for patient panels.
• Deliver adult and childhood immunisations.
• Provide wound care and cervical cytology where appropriate.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and development of nursing services.
