Job summary

The Key Medical Practice is seeking a qualified Practice Nurse to join the team across two sites in Kidlington and Yarnton. The role is available as full-time or part-time, starting November 2026, and focuses on autonomous, evidence-based nursing in a primary care setting.

You will undertake comprehensive assessments, wound care, immunisations and chronic disease management, while contributing to patient safety, service quality, and mentoring junior staff. NHS standards apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Evidence of post-registration training relevant to primary care or community nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, autonomous nursing care across two sites.
• Conduct complex patient assessments and contribute to long-term condition management.
• Provide advanced wound care, immunisations and health promotion activities.
• Support clinical leadership, mentorship and service improvements.
• Ensure accurate clinical records and adherence to NHS standards.
• Escalate concerns appropriately and participate in audits and reviews.
