Job summary

Purosearch Ltd invites experienced Practice Nurses to join a GP practice in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey. Flexible hours, and the role can be offered as permanent, part-time or full-time, with an ASAP or negotiable start date.

Salary up to £50,000 FTE depending on experience, with a supportive multidisciplinary team and focus on high-quality patient care. The post offers professional development, a balanced workload, and opportunities to work autonomously within a collaborative primary care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Experience in general practice or primary care.
• Experience in managing long-term conditions.
• Immunisation and vaccination experience.
• Cervical screening experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality treatment room and practice nursing services.
• Chronic disease management and reviews.
• Health promotion and preventative healthcare.
• Asthma and COPD reviews.
• Diabetes monitoring and management.
• Hypertension and cardiovascular disease reviews.
• Childhood and adult immunisations.
• Cervical screening.
• Wound care and dressings.
• New patient health checks and NHS health checks.
• ECGs and routine clinical observations.
• Providing lifestyle advice and health education.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
• Participating in clinical audits and practice development.
