Job summary

Purosearch Ltd in Gloucester is recruiting a Paramedic Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to join a forward-thinking Primary Care team. The role offers genuine flexibility with full-time or part-time hours and the opportunity to perform autonomous clinical assessments, home visits and a varied caseload.

You will work with experienced GPs and a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care, manage long-term conditions and deliver patient-centred services in a supportive practice environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Paramedic Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care.
• Ability to perform autonomous clinical assessments and home visits.
• Strong decision-making and prescribing where within scope.

Responsibilities

• Undertake autonomous clinical assessments
• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with acute and minor illnesses
• Undertake planned and urgent home visits
• Manage patients with long-term conditions where appropriate
• Prescribe within your scope of practice where qualified
• Make appropriate referrals and safety-net patients
• Provide clinical advice and education to patients
• Work closely with GPs, Practice Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records
• Work within professional and clinical competencies
• Contribute to the continued development of the practice
