Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust seeks a qualified physiotherapist to join the Intermediate Care Unit. You will assess and treat adults 18+ with diverse rehabilitation needs, work autonomously, and participate in a seven‑day service provision when required.

Your responsibilities include planning treatment, liaising with families and carers, and supervising support staff and students. You will document progress and contribute to discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Evidence of CPD.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialised physiotherapy assessment and treatment without direct supervision.
• Plan, implement and evaluate treatment programmes to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and carers to enable self-management and optimise recovery.
• Work within the MDT and supervise junior staff and students.
• Maintain clinical records and manage designated caseload effectively.
• Discharge planning and liaison with other services.
