Job summary

The 0-18 Occupational Therapy Team within CFHD is seeking a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join on a permanent 0.65 WTE basis. You will work across school, home, clinics and community settings to support children and young people with EHCPs.

You will lead assessment, plan and deliver evidence-based interventions, provide supervision to colleagues, and develop service improvements in collaboration with families and schools. Relocation policy available.

Qualifications

• Registered OT with HCPC and up-to-date CPD portfolio.
• Experience in paediatric OTs and SEN/EHCP context is essential.
• Evidence of leadership, audit and service development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver autonomous paediatric OT input across home, school and community.
• Lead assessment, planning and delivery of evidence-based interventions.
• Supervise OT colleagues and contribute to service development.
• Prepare professional reports for SEND tribunals when required.
