NHS Professionals Limited is recruiting an Advanced Occupational Therapist Paediatrics to join the Childrens Occupational Therapy CYP Therapies team at Peace Childrens Centre in Watford. The role focuses on highly specialist assessments, interventions and guidance for children with diverse learning and physical needs.

You will manage complex caseloads across schools, nurseries, homes and clinics, working with health, education and social care colleagues to deliver child-centred care and service

Qualifikationen

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with relevant degree qualification.
• Experience in paediatric community Occupational Therapy and complex caseloads.
• Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and multidisciplinary working.
• Experience using SystmOne desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle essential.

Aufgaben

• To complete detailed occupational therapy assessments using specialist clinical tools and observations, interpreting findings to support appropriate therapeutic outcomes for children and young people with complex presentations.
• To apply advanced clinical reasoning skills to monitor progress, review intervention effectiveness, and adapt therapeutic approaches in response to evolving needs and outcomes.
• To prepare specialist reports and contribute expert clinical input within safeguarding, review, and multi-agency meetings, ensuring accurate recommendations are clearly communicated to relevant professionals.
• To assess, recommend, and review specialist equipment and adaptive resources, ensuring safe implementation and effective use within educational, community, and home environments.
• To maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, data collection, and outcome reporting in line with HCPC standards, departmental procedures, and information governance requirements.
• To contribute to audit, clinical governance, research, and pathway review activities, supporting the delivery of responsive services aligned with best practice and local commissioning objectives.
