Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated Oncology/Haematology Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management for cancer patients undergoing SACT. You will work autonomously within scope of practice, delivering patient-centred care, and collaborating with the MDT to ensure safe, effective and coordinated care.

A development programme supports progression, with NMC registration and a Master’s in Advanced Clinical

Qualifications

NMC registered and working towards/holding a Master’s level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice with non-medical prescribing.
Oncology/haematology experience and strong clinical decision-making skills are essential.
Willingness to work across Royal Stoke and County Hospital sites.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and management for oncology/haematology patients.
Manage oncology-related symptoms and treatment toxicities.
Request, interpret, and act on diagnostic investigations.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans with the MDT.
