Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the Macclesfield satellite centre. You will practice autonomously at an advanced level, assess and manage radiotherapy and chemotherapy side effects, and prescribe independently as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Educated to Master’s level, you will engage in evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and development of outpatient pathways.

Qualifications

• Educated to Masters level with the ability to practice autonomously in an advanced role.
• Non-Medical prescribing, audit and research are key components of the role.
• Experience in oncology radiotherapy pathways is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex clinical assessments and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage outpatient treatment pathways and radiotherapy-related care.
• Order investigations, arrange referrals and maintain comprehensive clinical records.
• Contribute to training and development of allied health professionals.
