Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Oncology/Haematology Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced assessment, diagnosis and management for cancer patients undergoing SACT. You will work autonomously within an agreed scope of practice and collaborate with the MDT across Royal Stoke and County.

Applicants must be NMC registered and hold or be working towards an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, including non-medical prescribing.

Qualifications

• NMC registration and advanced clinical practice qualifications required.
• Experience and/or qualifications in Oncology and SACT is essential.
• Master’s level ACP qualification including non-medical prescribing is desirable.
• UKONs SACT Passport is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and management for oncology/haematology patients.
• Independently prescribe medications and supportive therapies within scope and local policies.
• Manage oncology-related symptoms and treatment toxicities.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans with the MDT.
