Job summary

Auxtronic Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a Monday to Friday days role at their Hinckley site. You will carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of production equipment, diagnose faults, and lead breakdown repairs with a focus on uptime and reliability.

You will work with a supportive engineering team, mentor an apprentice, and contribute to site improvements while enjoying a balanced work‑life arrangement. A strong multi-skilled background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding abilities in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on, independent worker comfortable with field maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment.
• Diagnose faults, perform breakdown repairs, minimize downtime.
• Complete planned maintenance and inspections (PPM).
• Maintain pumps, motors, valves, pipework, and conveyors.
