Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Multi-Skilled Electromechanical Engineer (Days) to join a Bicester manufacturing site. The role focuses on fault diagnosis, repair, servicing, and continuous improvement across production machinery and site facilities.

The role operates 4 on 4 off (07:00 - 19:00) with a salary of £57k per annum. Eligible for paid breaks, funded training, overtime, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recognised industrial electrical qualification (18th Edition IEE preferred).
• Experience as Industrial Electrical or Electromechanical Shift Engineer (manufacturing or printing environment a plus).
• Strong electrical troubleshooting, PCB/drive diagnostics, and basic mechanical machining (lathe operation).
• Self-motivated, proactive, capable of working independently, and possesses strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and fault diagnosis on production equipment.
• Execute electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks across multi-manufacturer machinery.
• Work on variable speed drives, PCBs, and assist with OEM remote diagnostics.
• Drive continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency alongside site facilities maintenance.
• Utilise workshop equipment and operate a lathe for mechanical repairs.
