Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer in Hinckley to service a global supplier. You will maintain and repair pumps, motors, compressors and pipelines while performing planned and reactive maintenance.

The role requires solid electrical knowledge and a relevant engineering qualification. Training, overtime, and a yearly bonus accompany a competitive salary and benefits including free on-site parking.

• Monday to Friday, 8-5, attend head office each morning to collect parts.
• Travel to customers across Lancashire.

Are you a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer, who holds good electrical knowledge, looking to work for a global supplier?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, family run company, operating since 1983. They supply a wide range of traditional and next‑generation refrigerants and associated products across the refrigeration, air‑conditioning and automotive markets, with its products reaching customers across more than 40 countries.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs.

In specifics, you will work on pumps, motors, compressors and pipelines whilst also completing other general maintenance activities.

The suitable candidate will have experience working as a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer with solid electrical knowledge.

The Role
