Hunter Selection Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a secure role in a leading manufacturing business in Aylesbury. You will maintain production performance through planned preventive maintenance, reactive breakdown support and involvement in engineering improvement projects.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, PLC experience and a proactive approach to maintenance. Monday-Friday days with exciting training and long-term career prospects.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification.
Experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer or similar.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience in manufacturing, food production, FMCG, processing or packaging environments.
PLC fault-finding experience.
Full right to work in the UK.
Competitive salary of £47,000.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance across manufacturing and processing equipment.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
PLC fault finding and troubleshooting.
Support continuous improvement and engineering projects.
Work with production teams to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
Ensure all maintenance activities are safe and comply with procedures.
