Qualifications

• Hands-on lead or senior QS with strong commercial awareness.
• Experience managing projects around £2m+ value is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of commercial functions.

Responsibilities

• Taking commercial ownership of a circa £2m project.
• Managing the project from a QS perspective with minimal supervision.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and commercial control.
• Valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Subcontract procurement and management.
• Measurement, variations and change control.
• Managing commercial risk and identifying opportunities.
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team.
• Supporting commercial reporting to senior management.
