Job summary

SF Partners in Nottingham is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to take day-to-day HR ownership in a growing SME, with three days onsite and two days working from home. This role offers autonomy, broad exposure, and a real chance to shape the people agenda.

You'll drive recruitment, support development and performance conversations, coach managers, and help create a connected culture across the business, with CIPD study support and a competitive salary up to £38,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• There is strong generalist HR experience with some exposure to recruitment/talent acquisition and employee development.
• A CIPD qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day HR and act as a trusted contact for managers.
• Drive recruitment for upcoming hires and improve structured hiring processes.
• Coach managers to improve interviewing, performance, and development discussions.
• Help shape career development and progression across the business.
• Improve performance management and conduct development conversations.
• Identify learning needs and implement practical solutions.
• Support employee relations matters with external employment law support available.
• Review HR processes to simplify and strengthen the people function.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and contribute ideas for the HR agenda.
• Foster an engaging, connected culture across locations.
