Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Flight Control Systems Engineer to develop safety-critical software for aircraft flight systems in Bedfordshire. You will work with MATLAB/Simulink to create control laws and data manipulation algorithms, then verify via bespoke simulations and real-world flight testing near the facility.

Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams is expected, with a focus on quality and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in aerospace engineering or similar.
• Hands-on experience with control systems design and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test safety-critical software for flight control systems.
• Deploy software to target hardware and conduct real-world flight tests near the office.
• Contribute to requirements definition and V&V using bespoke simulations.
