Job summary
Cpl Group is seeking a Specialist Registered Nurse (RGN) to deliver community and homecare in Torquay and surrounding areas. The role focuses on patient-centred nursing delivered in patients' homes to support early discharge and better outcomes.
You will assess patients, administer IV therapies and subcutaneous injections, manage IV devices, and work with multidisciplinary teams. A full UK driving licence is essential, with 37.5 hours per week and occasional weekends.
Qualifications
- RGN – NMC registered.
- Acute care nursing experience.
- Experience with IV therapies and IV devices.
- Competent in clinical assessments and autonomous decision-making.
- Experience administering subcutaneous injections.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, patient-centred nursing care in patients' homes.
- Conduct clinical assessments and make independent clinical decisions.
- Administer IV therapies and subcutaneous injections.
- Manage and care for IV devices.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Identify and escalate clinical risks appropriately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Support patient wellbeing and safeguarding.
