Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide flexible regional primary care sessions across Lyndhurst. You will run autonomous ANP-led clinics within established GP and community services, delivering advanced assessments and triage with full clinical autonomy.

You will manage acute presentations, prescribe within competence, review results and ensure accurate notes in digital systems, all while working in a supportive environment with well-structured pathways.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings is essential.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills are important.
• Ability to work autonomously in new environments is required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Review results and handle routine follow-up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems.
