Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics across Mayfield, offering flexible regional primary care sessions with full clinical control.

You will perform advanced assessments, manage acute and minor illness presentations, conduct triage by telephone and face-to-face, and prescribe within your scope, supported by GP and community services in well-structured clinics.

Qualifications

• Advanced nursing qualification required.
• Independent prescribing authority (V300) required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings preferred.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills needed.
• Ability to work autonomously in new environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems.
