Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide flexible regional primary care sessions across Lytham St Annes. You will run autonomous ANP-led clinics, delivering advanced assessments and triage within GP and community services.

This role offers full clinical autonomy with structured pathways and ad-hoc or regular bookings, enabling you to manage same-day presentations and routine patient demand while maintaining consistent work environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in new environments.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic's digital systems.
