Job summary

Kwik-Fit is seeking an Automotive Technician Trainer based at our Derby Training Academy with responsibilities for delivering hands-on technical training to apprentices and staff. This role reports to the Technical Training Delivery Manager and may involve travel to UK sites.

A strong mix of technical and customer service skills is required, with a UK Cat B licence essential. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a bonus potential and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong functional English and maths skills.
• Full UK Cat B Driver's Licence - essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Training programmes professionally and to standard.
• Ensure timely completion of course documentation and assessments.
• Maintain equipment and training aids to high standards and current status.
• Contribute to development and review of Technical Training materials.
• Provide feedback to improve training materials and delivery quality.
• Keep up-to-date with market developments and CPD opportunities.
• Evaluate Technical Training Programmes and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage learners in functional skills and practical demonstrations.
