Job summary

Kwik Fit seeks a Technician Trainer Automotive to deliver technical training at our Derby academy, with travel to other UK sites as needed. You will train apprentices and existing staff, balancing classroom and hands-on delivery while adhering to company standards.

The role requires strong English and maths, excellent communication, and a practical automotive background. A full UK driving licence is essential, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Training Schedule to required standards.
• Ensure course documentation and examinations are completed.
• Obtain approvals from awarding bodies for validity.
• Maintain training equipment and aids to high standards.
• Develop Technical Training programmes and update materials.
• Provide feedback to Training Content Developer.
• Stay updated with market developments and CPD opportunities.
• Evaluate programmes and encourage stakeholder feedback.
• Engage learners in functional skills.
