Job summary

Kwik-Fit (GB) Ltd is seeking a capable Technical Trainer Grade 1 based at the Reading Training Academy. The role involves delivering technical training programmes for new apprentices or existing staff, with travel to other UK sites as required.

You will report to the Technical Training Delivery Manager and contribute to improving performance across the business. Key requirements include strong communication, a practical mechanical background, and a UK Cat B driving licence.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as a training ambassador and mentor.
• Commercial focus with emphasis on technical and customer service content.
• Strong team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders and good time management.
• High standards of appearance, conduct, performance, integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Training programmes at the Training Academy and other UK sites as required.
• Complete course documentation, set examinations and assessments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain and update training equipment and aids to high standards.
• Contribute to development of Training programmes and provide feedback to content developers.
• Keep technical knowledge current via CPD, trade literature and regulatory developments.
