Job summary

Kwik-Fit (GB) Ltd is seeking a Technical Trainer Grade 1 to deliver technical training programmes at our Training Academy in Sheffield. The role is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week), based onsite with potential travel to other UK sites as required.

You will train new apprentices and existing colleagues, develop materials, assess learning, and ensure documentation and examinations are completed to standard. A full UK driving licence and strong English/maths skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Delivery of technical training to apprentices and staff.
• Prepare and assess training materials and examinations.
• Maintain training equipment and resources.
• Travel to UK sites when required.
• Full UK Cat B driving licence is essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Technical Training Schedule to new apprentices and existing staff.
• Ensure timely completion of course documentation and assessments.
• Comply with award body requirements for approvals to run courses.
• Maintain and update training equipment and aids.
• Contribute to programme development and material reviews.
• Provide feedback to content developers to improve materials.
• Stay current with market developments and CPD opportunities.
• Evaluate training programmes and promote continuous improvement.
• Engage learners in functional skills during sessions.
