Job summary

Kwik-Fit (GB) Ltd is seeking a Technical Trainer Grade 1 to deliver technical training programmes at the Derby Training Academy, with travel to other UK sites as required. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on site.

The position focuses on practical technical training, customer service skills, and coaching for colleagues on hybrid & electric vehicles, MOT, and related topics. A UK driving licence is essential and there are substantial development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical training to adults.
• Familiar with CPD processes and training assessments.
• Able to engage and develop learners across levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Training programmes to ensure professionalism and consistency.
• Complete course documentation, examinations and assessments.
• Maintain training equipment and materials to current standards.
• Contribute to development and review of training materials.
• Keep up-to-date with motor industry developments and CPD opportunities.
• Evaluate programmes and encourage stakeholder feedback.
• Engage learners in functional skills.
