Job summary

Kwik Fit is seeking a Technical Trainer Grade 1 to deliver technical training at our Automotive Training Academy in Sheffield. The role involves training new apprentices and existing Kwik-Fit team members, with travel to other UK sites as required.

Reports to Technical Training Delivery Manager and works within the People Team. The role emphasizes hands-on training in hybrid and electric vehicles, MOT, and customer care, with a focus on maintaining high standards of documentation and equipment,

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commercially focused with strong focus around both technical and customer service-related course content.
Strong team player, able to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
High standards of appearance, conduct, performance, integrity and confidentiality.
Functional English and maths skills.
Full UK Cat B Drivers Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Deliver Technical Training programmes that are business focused, professional, engaging and consistent with company policy.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all course documentation including examinations and assessments.
Maintain equipment and training aids and keep them up to date.
Contribute to development of Technical Training programmes by reviewing materials.
Provide feedback to Content Developer on improvements to training materials.
Engage learners and support continuous improvement through CPD and stakeholder feedback.
