Job summary

Vertu Peugeot Harlow is offering an IMI Apprenticeship starting at Level 2 with progression to Level 3. You will begin with Autocare fundamentals and advance to servicing technician skills through on-the-job work and block training.

The programme blends paid employment with IMI training, giving hands-on experience in servicing, fault-finding and inspections within a supportive dealership environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs/National 5 A-C (9-4) in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Level 2 Autocare Apprenticeship (IMI) completed or in progress.
• Progression to Level 3 Service Technician Apprenticeship on completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in routine servicing, inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Support fault-finding using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Learn to repair mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Follow health & safety procedures and work safely in the workshop.
• Record work completed, parts used and service activity accurately.
• Attend all IMI training and assessments.
