Job summary

Group 1 Ford Wokingham is offering an IMI-approved Level 3 Service Technician Apprenticeship, combining paid employment with high-quality IMI training at The Henry Ford Academy. You will diagnose, repair and maintain Ford vehicles under expert guidance.

This hands-on programme develops practical skills, safety discipline and excellent customer service as you work toward a fully qualified Service Technician. Applicants should be 16+, have GCSEs, and be willing to travel for training.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (A-C / 9-4) required or predicted to meet the standard.
• Aged 16+ with a passion for servicing and repairing vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
• Carry out servicing, inspections, and maintenance tasks
• Support fault-finding using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Work safely and follow dealership health & safety procedures
• Record work completed, parts used, and service activity accurately
• Attend all required IMI training and assessments
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction
