Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Fast Fit Centre Manager in Shaftesbury to lead a busy automotive service centre. You’ll drive sales, supervise five workshop staff, and ensure efficient daily operations with strong customer service.

The package includes £35,000–£40,000 salary, quarterly bonus potential (£1,000 each quarter), 30 days’ leave, pension, in-house training, and staff discounts. Working hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Proven management or supervisory experience within the retail or automotive sector (≤140 chars)
• Strong technical or mechanical knowledge of vehicles
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team effectively
• Demonstrated success in enhancing sales performance and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
• Experience in controlling costs and ensuring operational compliance

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of five workshop staff, fostering a positive sales and customer service culture
• Drive the centre's sales performance by ensuring the team follows call-back procedures and actively converts customer inquiries
• Lead daily operations, including maintaining a secure environment and safeguarding company assets and customer information
• Oversee stock control processes, ensuring accurate stock management and timely recording of deliveries
• Maintain and service equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Support the workshop team with relevant technical and mechanical knowledge, contributing to vehicle support when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures
