Job summary

Lookers Preston Volkswagen is recruiting an experienced Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team on site.

You will book MOTs, services and other repair work, and build rapport with customers through clear explanations and great service. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will upsell parts, manage bookings, and coordinate with the Aftersales department to prioritise workloads while delivering a first-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor or similar in automotive Aftersales.
• Strong customer-facing communication and rapport-building abilities.
• Ability to upsell parts and accessories while advising customers.

Responsibilities

• Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for customers.
• Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling parts / accessories.
• Liaising with the Aftersales department to schedule appointments based on workload.
• Managing a high volume of customers daily and handling phone/online queries.
• Informing customers of turnaround times and updating progress in systems.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating bookings.
• Demonstrating energy, professionalism and a passion for customer service.
