Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at A-C / 9-4 (predicted grades accepted).
• Strong interest in vehicle service and customer support.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in scheduling service appointments and provide information on services.
• Greet customers to ensure a positive service experience.
• Liaise between customers and technicians regarding vehicle concerns and service timelines.
• Interpret maintenance schedules, manuals, and repair estimates to advise on work.
• Coordinate with parts to ensure availability of components.
• Keep customers updated on service progress and additional work.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and seek satisfactory resolutions.
• Input service orders, invoices, and customer records using computer systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized service reception area.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to improve product knowledge and service skills.
